2020 Eau Claire Triathlon

UPDATE ON 2020 EAU CLAIRE TRIATHLON:

We appreciate your patience as we navigate the evolving COVID-19 situation. Our highest priority is to ensure that our racers, participants and spectators remain safe and healthy.

As a result, we have decided to cancel this years race. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to postpone to a later date due to the water quality of Halfmoon lake becoming unpredictable after mid-June.

Currently we are working with active.com to determine the most efficient way to issue refunds. Our understanding is that nearly 100% of the entry fees will be returned to all registered participants electronically - the only fees that will be deducted are those that are charged by Active not by the Eau Claire Triathlon. Once the refunds are processed, we will be sending a separate e-mail for your confirmation.

We are so disappointed we won't have the chance to see you this year. We hope you are able to stay active, and looking forward to joining us in 2021!

Thanks, and stay healthy!

On June 7, 2020 Eau Claire will host its eleventh annual sprint distance triathlon. Over the past ten years, beginners and veteran triathletes alike have used our race as a great way to get their summers started with a bang! Competitors have the opportunity to compete individually or as part of a team. The race course includes a swim in Halfmoon Lake, a bike ride through the rolling hills of western Wisconsin countryside, and a run through historic Carson Park. Sign up early, limited entries are available!

The Eau Claire Triathlon is once again pleased to welcome our young competitors for the fifth annual kids triathlon on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Kids ages 7-14 are invited to compete individually or as teams in a swim at Halfmoon Beach, bike through Carson Park, and run along the Chippewa Valley State Trail. Participate race weekend as a family and kick start a memorable summer of fun, physical, family activity!

Our Cause

We want the Eau Claire Triathlon to be a first class event, that inspires people to become physically active, and most importantly, raise money to support organizations whose missions we believe in. Over the past ten years, all of our proceeds have been donated to Friends of the Orphans and the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic. Thanks to the support of our sponsors and participants, we've had the privilege of donating over $150,000 to these worthy causes.
